The human form (the character) is a sophisticated instrument that the soul uses to experience and investigate the variety of experiences of life on Planet Earth.
It is the duty of the soul to look after and love the character that you are given and to find out the sort of life-style that is best suited for it. You must learn to love the character that you have been given to play. Each character is unique. So love that uniqueness. As you begin to love the character then you will learn to like, respect, love, admire, and appreciate other characters that you meet. This is the law of "as within, so without."
This is made easier by replacing all our references to "me and mine" with "the character" or 'his' / 'her' or 'the man' / 'the woman'. So "my body" becomes "this character's body", "my life" becomes "this character's life", "What am I doing now?" becomes "what is s/ he doing now?", "I am sad" becomes "She is sad" and so on. We can ask "How is my character?"
